Where do you meet?

We are honored to be a ministry of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk, VA.

When do you meet?

We gather on Thursdays from 9am - 2:30pm.

What classes and clubs do you offer?

We try to have classes and clubs that are either better with a group of friends, require "expertice" to be shared or what homeschool families say they need the most help with. This is why our primary focus is on Science, Art, Book Club, Creative Writing, Math Olympiad, Life Skills and Home Ec.

When Can I Visit?

We would love to meet you! Please fill out our interest form, and we hope to see you at a field trip or event soon!

Can I drop my Children off or do I need to stay in the building during their classes and clubs?

For insurance purposes, all children need a parent or guardian to remain on the premises. Hope Catholic Homeschool Community is not a drop off program.

Do you have a nursery?

Yes! We have a beautiful nursery space for our youngest community members, ages 0-3.

What is your registration fee?

We don't have one! Instead, we have a facility fee that is paid directly to our host parish. The facility fee is per family and per semester. The facility fee for Fall 2026 is $75.

How much are your classes and clubs?

Most learning blocks have a $50 supply fee, clubs are less, and science and art classes have higher fees to cover the more specific supplies. Supply fees are per child, per semester.

Do we need to participate in all the classes and clubs?

Most families find that the more they are present with us, the stronger their community is. However, families are welcome to come to as much or as little as their schedule allows.
