In Play and Learn we explore letters, numbers, geography, physical science, life science, and the animal kingdom. Each class uses stories, songs, large muscle movement, crafts, and guided activities to support our theme. Play and Learn runs in a three year cycle, so children who return always have something new to discover. Come learn and play with us!

In this book club we will have FUN exploring the varied lands of literature. On our adventure in Narnia we will build a crystal snowflake, devour Turkish delight, make a bow and arrow set, retrieve a horn, run an obstacle course, concoct a healing potion, and finally decorate and don our crowns! All this while reading The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. We’ll also learn about genre, setting, logic, imagery, villains and heroes.
This club will focus on having fun with math and problem solving. We will work problems from the Math Olympiad for Elementary Schools, and also from the book Math by Kids. Students will write their own math problems, with a focus on multi-step problems that require the development and exercise of problem solving skills.
This club will focus on having fun developing and sharing creative writing. We will create stories, both fiction and non-fiction, and practice building our love of creating the written word in a variety of ways both through in-person exercises and take-home assignments.

This course will focus on developing a detailed foundation of knowledge about American Government. Topics covered will include the founding principles and the Constitution, federalism and separation of powers, civil liberties and civil rights, media and public opinion, elections, parties, interest groups, the U.S. Congress, the presidency, the bureaucracy, the judiciary, and public policy. We will also, optionally, work to develop the skills needed to perform at a high level on the AP US Government exam.
